Privacy Policy

Introduction

At Uplift & Inspire, accessible from uandi.life, protecting your privacy is a top priority. This Privacy Policy outlines the types of information I collect and how it is used.

I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date will reflect any changes made. By continuing to use uandi.life after changes are posted, you accept the revised Privacy Policy.

I value respect, and privacy is an essential courtesy. No one enjoys reading privacy policies—or worse, having to write one. I’ve made an effort to simplify this page for easier understanding. My goal with uandi.life is to share helpful content, and I have no interest in selling or sharing your data. I use WordPress to run this site, and while some plugins may involve data sharing, I have chosen privacy-respecting plugins and disabled any data-sharing settings. I will continue to prioritize your privacy while maintaining transparency.

If you have any questions or need more information, please don’t hesitate to contact me.

This Privacy Policy applies only to online activities and is valid for visitors to this website. It does not apply to information collected offline or through other channels.

By using this website, you consent to this Privacy Policy and agree to its terms.

Where your data is sent

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

Comments

When visitors leave comments, I collect the information provided in the comments form, along with the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string for spam detection.

I use Cloudflare Turnstile CAPTCHA to protect against spam and automated abuse. Turnstile verifies that users are human without tracking them or collecting unnecessary data. An anonymized string from your email address (a hash) may be sent to the Gravatar service to check if you’re using it. Gravatar’s privacy policy can be found here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. Once your comment is approved, your profile picture will be visible in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images that include embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Cookies

I do not currently use cookies on uandi.life. However, third-party services like Amazon and eBay may place cookies in your browser when you click on my affiliate links. These cookies track your purchases for commission purposes but do not affect the price you pay.

If you leave a comment on my site, you may choose to save your name, email, and website in cookies for convenience, so you don’t need to re-enter the information. These cookies will last for one year.

When you log in, I will set temporary cookies to determine if your browser accepts cookies. These cookies do not contain personal data and are discarded when you close your browser.

Analytics

I use Koko Analytics to gather insights on how our website is used. This plugin is privacy-friendly and does not share any data with third parties. It does not collect any personal or visitor-specific information; instead, it only aggregates basic metrics such as total page views, unique page views, and referral URLs, and no cookies are used. This allows me to monitor and improve the site’s performance while fully respecting your privacy.

Log Files

I follow a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. All hosting companies do this and is a part of hosting services’ analytics. The information collected by log files include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of the information is for analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users’ movement on the website, and gathering demographic information.

Cache

This site utilizes caching in order to facilitate a faster response time and better user experience. Caching potentially stores a duplicate copy of every web page that is on display on this site. All cache files are temporary, and are never accessed by any third party, except as necessary to obtain technical support from the cache plugin vendor. Cache files expire on a schedule set by the site administrator, but may easily be purged by the admin before their natural expiration, if necessary. We may use QUIC.cloud services to process & cache your data temporarily. Please see https://quic.cloud/privacy-policy/ for more details.

Advertising Partners

Currently, I do not have third-party advertisers on uandi.life. If this changes, advertisers may use cookies or web beacons to track user data. I will update this section with information on advertisers and their privacy policies if needed.

Third Party Privacy Policies

When you click on affiliate links (such as Amazon or eBay), those third-party websites may place cookies in your browser to track your activity. Uandi.life’s Privacy Policy does not cover these external sites, so I recommend checking their privacy policies to understand how they manage your data and cookies, and how to opt out.

You can manage cookies in your browser settings:
